About Joe Casey

DES MOINES, IOWA

Named a "Top 40 Under 40" civil plaintiff lawyer by National Trial Lawyers, Joe Casey represents individuals and businesses who have suffered financial or bodily harm due to the intentional or negligent acts of others. 

Joe has deep roots in the State of Iowa and the legal profession. When he graduated from law school, he became the fourth generation in his family to study law, practice law, or serve on the bench in Iowa.  

Joe began his career with a renowned civil litigation firm in their in high-stakes commercial litigation and catastrophic injury practice groups. 

He holds a J.D. from Drake University Law School, a B.A. from Baylor University, and a Certificate in Multi-District Litigation from Duke University Law School's Bolch Judicial Institute.

He serves on several committees for the American Association for Justice and is a member of the Drake Law School Recent Alumni Engagement Board.

He is admitted to practice in all trial and appellate courts in Iowa, as well as the Northern District of Iowa, the Southern District of Iowa, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
